Bike Fest
I'm shivering with sweat, I raise a beatific smile proudly and my legs are bruised. In this windy day, I had the great privilege of discovering an aspect of the city that had escaped me: go to work by bike. I love the bike and I had time to do in abundance in my life, more for pleasure than necessity. By
challenge as pleasure, I'm hooked on the idea of using my two wheels as a means of travel between my work and my apartment. My dear roommate is a source of inspiration in this regard, he who carries around the island in-line skating. So I decided to draw inspiration from his example. To do this, I wanted to settle a luggage rack, I had always refused to put accessories on my horse, thinking it was an obstacle to speed. You end inexorably aging (or realize that back pain is less without a backpack)!
This is not the first time I borrowed the bike paths to work: at the beginning of my university, I worked in a factory and I went every day by bicycle. I had at that time, steel legs (for more, I had to work standing for eight hours). I've been working at the College de Bois-de-Boulogne bike, but again, it's far from the reality of downtown, with its traffic jams of cyclists. Once the age of sixteen reached, it is not a much used means of transportation in the suburbs. Exiled in town, I find that the bike stands as a reliable means of transportation.
One thing for me has been striking to see traffic jams of cyclists in the city center. When returning home, we had a collective energy that was palpable up the hill near Sherbrooke. The two-wheeled crowd collectively and blew the leg muscles of cyclists swelled so rhythmic. A beautiful experience the opportunity to live it, I can not wait to start!
