The beautiful days of April are rare, but the time Easter Sunday was rather unique: the land of Cain, to Bergeron, the mercury showed 20 degrees in the shade. My family and I, lying on the surface above the river, enjoy the sun for complacency in the dry grass, recent discoveries of their snow cover. However, a few meters from the haphazard hand, there were mounds of snow still based in nearby areas shaded by numerous trees that dot the field. The creek running down the slope and the lapping of water were added to the prevailing air of relaxation.
Admittedly, the perceived temperature was well above most summer days: my uncle and my father have the same opportunity to remove their jersey. For my part, I ventured into the water at low tide, to go soak my feet between krill, kelp fields, whelks, mussels, to name just a few of the many forms of life that make up the magnificent St. Lawrence estuary. I could hardly believe that in April, I had both feet in the water and there was no trace of snow on the strike, as streams poured their water into a river loud and continuous, interrupted only by screaming gulls. Finally, the sunlight dancing on water, which was much warmer, however. Two days ago, fog, snow and cold weather accompanied our late arrival.
A small happiness, but what memories he will leave in our hearts, we who were fortunate to come together in this warm weather, which warmed even the tie that binds us!
